So, what I've decided to do is host these polls on the 1st Saturday of every month and close them at 6:00 AM on the upcoming Monday. Granted, you can still try to squeeze in votes before then, since I don't promise I'll always be up at 6. So it's more like 'they'll close when I drag myself out of bed and see the results myself'.
